Biography
Oleksandra Kunovska Mondoux is Main Representative for the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations (WFUWO) at the United Nations in Geneva. Oleksandra completed her doctoral thesis in global history at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). During her PhD studies, she conducted research at Columbia University, ENS (Paris), Sorbonne Paris IV, and Hebrew University. Her PhD project dealt with the representations of globalization and consumption in newspaper advertisements of Ukrainians, Jews, and Poles in Interwar Lviv.
