Biography

Norbert Götz holds a Chair in Modern History at Linköping University, Sweden. He is the author of Deliberative Diplomacy: The Nordic Approach to Global Governance and Societal Representation at the United Nations (Republic of Letters, 2011, http://urn.kb.se/resolve?urn=urn:nbn:se:sh:diva-12392), and with Georgina Brewis and Steffen Werther, Humanitarianism in the Modern World: The Moral Economy of Famine Relief (Cambridge University Press, 2020, https://doi.org/10.1017/9781108655903). He has written on international relations, international organisations and global civil society, humanitarianism, Scandinavian history, moral economy, and mental mapping, and has published in journals such as European Journal of International Relations, Historische Zeitschrift, International History Review, and Journal of Contemporary History.
