Biography
Simone Schleper is a tenured historian at Maastricht University and the author of Planning for the Planet: Environmental Expertise and the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, 1960–1980 (Berghahn, 2019). Her work examines the history of biology, environmental knowledge, and governance practices within 20th-century international organizations and science programs.
