Biography

Dr Thomas Davies specializes in the evolution of international non-governmental organizations. He is the author of NGOs: A New History of Transnational Civil Society (London: Hurst, December 2013; and New York: OUP, November 2014) and The Possibilities of Transnational Activism: The Campaign for Disarmament between the Two World Wars (Leiden and Boston: Martinus Nijhoff, 2007). He was educated at Magdalen College Oxford and is Senior Lecturer in International Politics at City University London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
